Artistic Swimming - Synchro

Artistic Swimming as it’s now called since a name change in 2017 from Synchronized Swimming, is still most often referred to by it’s shortened name, “Synchro.” The first recorded synchro competition was in 1891. The sport has been in the Olympics since 1984; and now it’s here in Omaha again. The sport consists of Figures for younger and novice competitors, and solo, duet, and team routines.

Figures Club: All Sessions - Fall, Winter/Spring, Summer

Blazers Routine: Fall and Winter/Spring
Blazers Routine group swimmers work on improving their swimming skills, strength, endurance, and flexibility. They work on improving their synchro skills, body positions, figures, and hybrids. They put these skills to use in an end of session performance routine.

Blazers Figures: Summer
This summer-only group is for Blazers Figures swimmers to continue to improve their technique for artistic swimming figures and hybrids.

This bonus practice is available to any currently registered Figures Club and Blazers swimmers to work towards completing their Artistic Swimming Levels. Pre Grade 1 Manual & Levels 1-6 Manual Each swimmer in this group must commit to bringing snacks for one lesson.
