It’s Meet Day!

Kroc Center Splash, 5:30 pm today

Please have your swimmers dressed ready to swim - with cap and goggles on - sitting in their meet chairs by 5:30 pm.

Give yourself a little extra time to get through the Kroc Center check in process.

The Kroc Center swim team is learning about Yusra Mardini. They will be participating in a ten-minute swim after the meet. Martina and her sister swam and helped pull a boat full of people for three and a half hours on their flight from war-torn Syria in 2015.

Mardini went in to swim in two Olympic Games as part of the Refugee Team. This year, she along with her sister, was named one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world.
