Remember, it’s always YOUR CHOICE.
BE INFORMED Stay informed. Remain in compliance with state and county directed health measures. Visit https://dhhs.ne.gov/covid for the most current guidance. Scroll down on this page for additional COVID-19 resource links.
BE RESPONSIBLE Stay home if anyone in your household is sick. Send a healthy substitute friend or relative or use the FUF Lesson Swap page on Facebook to try to swap out your lesson for a later date,
PREPARE IN ADVANCE Be prepared for having no access to locker rooms and limited access to restrooms and drinking water. Shower and dress for swimming at home. Bring a coverup or extra towel so your swimmer may wrap up and leave the facility without changing out of their swimming suit. Bring your masks with you. OHB requires that masks be worn while on campus. Prepare your swimmer to expect the coaches to be wearing face masks and/or clear face shields.
WASH YOUR HANDS Wash your hands before coming to the pool, Carry hand sanitizer, and use it. Remain in areas designated for use during lessons. Avoid touching common surfaces.
SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCE Be on time but arrive no earlier than ten minutes before your lesson. Follow posted traffic patterns through the facility. [In through the front door; across the pool deck to lane 6 for lessons; toward the deep end and out the back door at the end of your lesson] Do not backtrack through the facility or move from the designated lesson waiting area on the bench. Provide others with social distancing space of at least six feet.
LIMIT GROUP SIZE Do not bring non-swimming siblings and friends or any other spectators to the pool.
WORK TOGETHER Let’s support each other in making the OHB pool a safer place for all of us.
IT’S YOUR CHOICE Face-Up First coaches, iNspire, and Omaha Home for Boys, do our best, with your cooperation, to provide a safe environment for your lessons. You are responsible for remaining informed of the COVID-19 risk and for making good choices for your family. Your participation in swimming lessons is voluntary. It’s Your Choice
